GROWING TOGETHER SINCE 1979

Our
story.

Our story began in the late 1970s when Aberdeen was expanding due to the rapidly growing oil industry. A group of Christians in the Bridge of Don started to meet and pray together about the possibility of starting a new church in what was fast becoming Scotland’s largest suburb. That vision became reality in 1979, quickly growing from a gathering in a home to meeting in local schools.

ROOTED IN BRIDGE OF DON

The story
continues.

After an incredible journey with many answers to prayer, in 1988 the church constructed and moved to its current home on Dubford Drive. For over thirty years now, the church centre has provided a great venue to gather in worship and from which to serve our community.

More than a building.

Our church is not a building but the people who gather together determined to worship together and live out the message of Jesus in the places we live and work across our city. With all the changes to our city and neighbourhood, over recent years we’ve been looking to refocus on our local communities, mostly to the north of the River Don, seeking to faithfully serve and share the good news of Jesus in new ways.
