BEYOND OUR DOORSTEP
Partners
in mission.
BMS World Mission
One of the oldest mission agencies in the world having been founded in 1792 to enable Baptist churches to share the message of Jesus cross-culturally around the world. This continues today in many ways including; church planting, development, disaster relief, education, health, media and advocacy.
Tearfund
Tearfund is a Christian charity that partners with churches in more than 50 of the world’s poorest countries. It tackles poverty through sustainable development, responding to disasters, and challenging injustice, believing an end to extreme poverty is possible.
WorldVenture — Mark & Lisa DeNeui
WorldVenture is a US based charity whose vision is to see multitudes of disciples compelled by the love of God and willing to risk all so that people are transformed by God, impacting their families, communities, and world.
Since their time in Aberdeen in the 2000s when the DeNeui family worshipped at our church, we have supported Mark and Lisa as they seek to work this out in France through theological education, supporting churches and personal engagement.
New Life Church — Nathan Young
New Life Church is a church plant in Middlesborough now pastored by Nathan Young, a former member of Bridge of Don Baptist Church. Our church has been able to help New Life in funding Nathan’s position.
TeachBeyond / Share — Jane Waites
Our church has been privileged to support Jane’s work in mission stretching back over 20 years. Jane worked for many years with BMS in Albania but now uses her teaching skills and experience as an educational consultant with Teach Beyond, supporting families involved in mission around the world.
